Hoosier Diamond is a company that has promoted high school and college baseball and softball throughout the Midwest for the last 13 years.

Our goal is to provide student athletes with opportunities to showcase and market their athletic and academic talents to college coaches.  We do this through publishing the Hoosier Diamond publication, conducting the Hoosier Diamond Winter Exposure Camps, Hoosier Diamond Fall Showcase, Hoosier Diamond’s Baseball / Softball Classic and the Hoosier Diamond Fall Baseball League, which is one of the largest and most successful fall baseball leagues in the Midwest.

The Hoosier Diamond publication, a newspaper publication that is published 10 times per year is the voice of baseball and softball in the Midwest.  The Hoosier Diamond publication provides our subscribers with baseball and softball news from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Tennessee and Illinois, at both high school and college ranks.  The Hoosier Diamond publication is subscribed to by many baseball fans, as well as, college baseball and softball coaches that use this publication as a recruiting tool.

Hoosier Diamond’s Winter Exposure Camps in both baseball and softball are well attended by college coaches and professional scouts from throughout the Midwest.  Our Winter Exposure Camps are typically conducted in the month of January, a time when college coaches are focused on winter recruiting.  Hoosier Diamond’s Winter Exposure camps in both baseball and softball are designed to provide participants with the opportunity to display their athletic talents in a professional tryout camp setting.  Hoosier Diamond conducts the Winter Exposure Camps at some of the finest indoor college athletic facilities in the Midwest.  For the last several years Hoosier Diamond has conducted our Winter Exposure Camps in baseball at Indiana University and St. Joseph’s College.  In softball we have conducted our Winter Exposure Camp / Indoor Softball Tournaments at Purdue University and Indiana University.

Hoosier Diamond’s Baseball and Softball Classic, conducted in June, matches some of the Midwest’s top talent, by enrollment grade.  The Classic is an invitation only event with participant’s attending from Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Tennessee and Wisconsin.  A one day event that provides players with the opportunity to showcase their talents on the baseball and softball field.  Participants are assigned to teams by enrollment grade and each team is coached by a college coach.  Hoosier Diamond has conducted the Classic at Indiana Wesleyan University and the University of Indianapolis.

Hoosier Diamond’s Fall Showcase is the veteran of baseball showcases in the Midwest.  Hoosier Diamond was the first organization to bring into the Midwest a successful showcase event in both baseball and softball.  Now we are one of the most respected showcases conducted.  Like our Winter Exposure Camps, this event is well attended by college coaches and is conducted in a try-out camp setting.  Each student athlete participates in a complete skill evaluation session, which is conducted by a group of Major League Baseball scouts.  Participants also are assigned to teams and have the opportunity to display their talents during Showcase games. 

No other single organization provides student athletes with more opportunities to market themselves as a potential college or professional prospect.  Last year more approximately 700 players representing 10 states plus Canada attended a Hoosier Diamond event.

Attending one of our fantastic recruiting events could be the single most important decision you make during your high school athletic career. Hoosier Diamond cannot guarantee that you will walk away with with a college scholarship but you will have the opportunity to showcase your baseball or softball skills in front of many college and professional scouts.
